Performance of WhichWayHome from 31 December 2007 onwards, the date of the first WhichWayHome Market Outlook. Real estate and equities were avoided early on, with positions in physical gold, silver and platinum built up over time. Precious metal mining stocks added in late 2008 as the stock market dislocation continued. Starting in 2010 positions in energy stocks began to be added at a slow, steady pace. Residual cash balances have been spread across a range of hard currencies, minimising the exposure to GBP and USD.
